Ryedale Folk Museum is an open-air museum in the village of Hutton-le-Hole in the North York Moors National Park. This museum tells the stories of local people from pre-history to the present day. About twenty of the museum’s buildings have been saved from nearby villages and reconstructed at the museum.

Telling the story of life on the North York Moors across 4,000 years, Ryedale Folk Museum has something for everyone

Within six-and-a-half acres, you’ll discover farming throughout the ages. For most of the year we have rare-breed pigs, sheep and chickens for you to feed.
