The polish city of Krakow has thousands of years worth of architectural beauty and culture for you to discover, yet this city is where  70 years ago Oskar Schindler managed a enamel factory and employed over 1000 people who would have otherwise have been sent to concentration camps. Our itinerary is packed with several places of interest but is done over 11 days making it a leisurely once if a lifetime experience.. We will take you in the allied forces footsteps across Germany and into Poland cover some wonderful; towns and cities. We will have time to pay our respects for the fallen as we visit Arnhem Bridge and war memorial. This tour is not just about the war but seeing the historic towns like Dresden with its magnificent Dome which towers the city, so this tour has something for everyone.

Sunday 23rd Sept

Join the coach at your chosen departure point, (this will be in the afternoon – Time TBC)

Travel to Hull for the overnight crossing to Rotterdam

Monday 24th Sept

Travel from Rotterdam to Kassel  – Via Mohne Reservoir Dam  where the Dam busters performed a daring night raid. Overnight hotel in Kassel

Tuesday 25th Sept

Travel to Dresden and our over night hotel – calling at Colditz along the way. Overnight Hotel In Dresden

Wednesday 26th Sept

We travel to Krakow, where we will stay at Novotel Centrum for 3 nights.

Thursday 27th Sept

After breakfast we head off to Auschwitz, were we will have a guided tour of the former German concentration camp where 1.5 million Jews were executed  

Friday 28th Sept

After breakfast we head off to Schindlers enamel factory, where the in WWII Oskar Schindler worked and drafted his famous list. Afternoon optional tour to Wieliczka Salt Mine

Saturday 29th sept

After breakfast he head off to the German city of Dresden, where in 1943 it was heavily bombed by the allied forces. Now restored to its former glory the Dome is a magnificent land landmark. Staying at the Leonard hotel for 2 nights.

Sunday 30th Sept

After breakfast we head off to Berlin for the day, where you will have free time to explore this wonderful city.

Monday 1st October

After breakfast  we head towards the Netherlands calling at Dortmund for our last night in Germany

Tuesday 2nd October

We head off into the town of Arnhem where we will visit the famous “bridge Too Far” and then onto the Arnhem war cemetery. In the afternoon we head off to Rotterdam and our overnight ferry back to Hull

Wednesday 3rd Oct

Disembark the ferry and travel to your joining point
